The concept behind the 1qm chair is, to build a modern chair with cheap and easy-to-form materials. It is made of simple Multiplex planks and can be assembled and disassembled without tools. Using only 1qm of wood, the chair is designed to conserve materials and resources, costing only 13€ per exemplar.

Jeff Wardell and Claudia Sagan is a San Francisco couple that loves to travel and collecting art. They live in a 127-foot-long loft. The apartment lies on a north–south axis with large windows at either end. They have rebuilt a container into a office and guest bedroom.
